EMTP-RV – First user group

Over sixty participants representing companies from several domains took part to this successful meeting.

The day started by a presentation by RTE and another one by EDF R&D; both gave a good idea of main stakes of the European Energy System.

EMTP-RV has become a standard tool for both organisations since many years now.

 

Afterwards, Jean Mahseredjian gave an overview of the next version (2.2) expected at the beginning of 2009.

 

Next, engineers showed case studies in several fields of applications (distribution, photovoltaic, wind energy, networks modelisation and studies) and gave information about the help EMTP-RV provides them.

 

This meeting was the first date: the organisation comity wants to give opportunity to users to share experiences and information on matters that are of concern to the EMTP-RV community of users. This community welcomes people who want to discover the software.
